Hi David!
Wow! you have been to Saint Petersburg?! It's one of the places I hope I can visit some day. Is it as fabulous as it seems?

st petersburg is one of the most fabulous cities in the world it was built on a grand scale. which suffered terribly during world war 2 but nicely the russian have built back their history. it ranks amongst my favorites - shanghai, istanbul, paris, london, hong kong, bangkok.

Beautiful pics, David!I was born in St.Petersburg, lived there for 22 years and then moved to Long Island, NY...I miss my hometown alot...miss all these nice places, parks, architecture, russian food, etc. It's an amazing place for a visit, especially during White nights; it's the most beautiful city of Russia, the cultural capital with a lot of history. Hope you enjoyed your time over there :-)
